Gurugram-based startup 30 Sundays has lately secured $770,000 in fresh funding and InfoEdge Ventures led the round. The funding was also backed by Eximius Ventures, First Cheque and Misfits Capital. The company is now set on a path to transform the outbound travel experience and particularly for couples who are seeking curated getaways.

The fresh funds will be important for the operational expansion of 30 Sundays with a strategic focus on Europe and Africa. 30 Sundays co-founder Kshitij Chaudhary highlights the plan to strengthen supply chain and cultivate partnerships with global and local suppliers.

The core approach of 30 Sundays is its AI-first model that uses generative AI (GenAI) to simplify and personalize travel planning process. The AI platform is designed to take on repetitive tasks and enable the team to focus on refining user experience. Chaudhary emphasized that AI is a backend tool and also is central to customer engagement. He also thanks the Instagram-integrated chatbot that helps prospective customers to instantly share trip details and filtering out less qualified leads as well as ensure the sales team to only interact with serious prospects.

The outbound travel market is projected to grow to $18.8 billion in 2024 and over $55 billion by 2034 in India. Startups like 30 Sundays are said to have ample room to grow. The platform provides a modern alternative tailored for romantic escapades and unique couple-centric experiences. Kitty Agarwal, a partner at InfoEdge Ventures, said that couples can skip the cookie-cutter packages and engage in a more intuitive and personalized booking experience with 30 Sundays.

This is an era where experiences matter as much as destinations and 30 Sundays stand out. Its commitment to offering curated and AI-powered journeys in iconic global spots could redefine trip planning.
