Let’s get started!

Priced at just 5$, all of which you get back as soon as you make the first purchase using them, these tiny Dash buttons are one of Amazons many efforts into the IoT space. With the help of these tiny buttons, you can order regular household stuff directly through Amazon without having to go through the added hassle of opening up your phone or asking Alexa.

#2. Samsung Wifi Fridge (Price: 3,599$)

What’s better than a normal fridge? A fridge with WiFi and an LCD screen of course. The smart capabilities of this fridge go more than just monitoring what you have inside it, you can at any time log in remotely and see what’s in your fridge so that grocery shopping becomes just that much easier.

#3. FitBit Wifi Enabled Scale (Price: 110.99$)

This smart scale from the makers of the Fitness Tarcker FitBit is embedded with WiFi capabiluties so that it can sync with your Fitbit band and the Fitbit app to provide a complete overview of your weight and other bodily functions, helping you be ship-shape, always!

#4. PetNet Smart Feeder (Price: 149$)

From taking care of your own body, to taking care of your pets, PetNet has you covered with their IoT embedded pet feeder. With this snazzy new contraption, you can remotely feed your pets at correct times, choose portions and what’s more even have pet food delivered right to your doorstep. Unfortunately, it’s iOS only at this stage.

#5. iRobot’s Roomba 980 (Price: 899$)

With our busy lives, it can sometimes be a very tough job to keep the house clean, and the floors scrubbed. The latest Roomba does it for you! Along with that, the Wifi control lets you call for the Roomba to spring forth into action remotely and you can also change cleaning cycles even when you’re outside your home!

So these were the 5 household IoT gadgets that you can get your hands on right now. While I agree that some of them are pretty expensive, and don’t quite work all the time, do remember that these devices are in early stages of their development. As IoT continues to evolve with time, we will continue providing you with many such interesting products that you can buy to make your life a little bit easier!
