The other notable investors were Peak XV Partners and Venture Highway. The fresh capital signals a strong confidence of investors in the innovative approach of the company to wedding planning and services.
Meragi was founded in 2021 and since then it has swiftly carved a niche for itself in the wedding industry. It offers a comprehensive range of services such as decoration, photography, makeup, hairstyling, catering and venue arrangements. It aims to be a one-stop solution for all wedding needs. It is basically designed to help users discover, design and purchase a variety of products and services which are tailored for weddings and other lifestyle events.
One of the notable offerings is its destination wedding packages. The service covers picturesque locations such as Goa, Coorg, Chikkamagaluru, Mysuru and Bengaluru. It is equipped with some well-curated packages catering to couples who look for memorable and hassle-free wedding experiences in the scenic destinations.
The fresh capital is learned to be helping Meragi in its expansion plans which includes setting footprints into new cities. Establishing partner venues and experience centres, and venturing into new service categories like venues and catering too.
The ambitious goal of Meragi is to achieve revenue of Rs 100 crore by the end of this fiscal year. It has plans to expand customer base and mainly focus on the 25- to 35-year-old demographic to achieve the target. Moreover, it has already set its sights on expanding to Gurugram and Jaipur this year.
