Students not actively utilising artificial intelligence in their regular schooling and college application process will face various disadvantages in educational institutions.

As per Julia Dixon, a former tutor who created ES.AI, using AI in education is as inevitable as the internet or a search engine.  This concept is helpful for people in sceptical about it in the beginning. Students who never have gone through the usage of AI can level up the work they’re doing and will be at a disadvantage.

Julia also mentioned that these students can get familiar with this technology. The more ahead they’ll be in the rest of the education and professional world, the more they will be benefited from this technology.

Artificial Intelligence Can Also Write Your College Essays

Artificial intelligence has proven that AI tools are capable enough to write not just emails, essays and epitaphs but poems, songs and movie scripts, too. Being a nascent technology, AI makes writing easier. With this tech, the students can write essays and perform the homework for which they have been criticized as cheaters.

For instance, if an individual visits a library, he/she can visualize various sorts of things that a tool like ChatGPT can perform. Teachers in classrooms can be a threat or a benefit to students’ educational outcomes.

The regular and active utilization of AI can be helpful for students in their college applications. This is seen as an ethical tool and ethical practice. One should never submit AI-generated work as a final product as it requires a go-through task.

Using AI to brainstorm ideas, outline essays and edit students’ writing is similar to using a human tutor.

As per Dixon, any teacher or counsellor would approve and even encourage using those kinds of tutors if their students have access to them.

AI developments would help America’s “broken” education system in the future.
