Dr. Li Feifei, President of Database Products Business at Alibaba Cloud, stated some of the benefits reaped by businesses by merging AI with serverless cloud computing. It is true that AI technology is advancing at a rapid speed and businesses are trying to use it to enhance their growth.

Dr. Li said that the integration of AI and serverless cloud computing can be more simple than we exactly know. He simultaneously explained the way the two can empower businesses to efficiently manage their data. He added that data is the foundation of AI. He stressed the need for proper processing as well as proper protection to maximize its effectiveness.

Talking to an online media, Dr. Li named the database models includingOnline Transaction Processing (OLTP) and On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) highlighting the roles of these in facilitating transactions and data analysis for businesses.

He further predicts the transformative impact of the vector database model that specializes in handling intelligent workloads and particularly for storing high-dimensional vectors which are essential for understanding unstructured data.

Apart from all these, Dr. Li also discussed on how AI can autonomously manage databases within an enterprise as well as optimize storage and resource allocation. He emphasized the potential of serverless cloud computing that eliminates the need for provisioning servers.

Alibaba Cloud is gradually enabling more businesses to leverage AI through serverless solutions. Dr. Li added that AI and serverless cloud computing provides flexibility as well as cost-effectiveness. This allows companies to adapt to dynamic workloads effectively.
