Amazon Is Working on a Device That Can Read Human Emotions 1

Amazon is now working on a voice-activated wearable capable of reading the human emotions, according to the report which has been revealed.

The e-commerce giant hardware development and research group Lab126 and the voice tool behind Alexa are as of now also collaborating on the device, the new report revealed, citing with some of the internal documents.

It is also described internally as a health and wellness product, according to the report which has signaling big leap by the major technology company into the health. Amazon has also previously indicated its interest in the sector with its $753 Million deal to buy the online pharmacy PillPack.

The report also revealed that the device would come equipped with a microphone to listen to a user’s voice and detect their emotional state. It also added that it was not clear how far the project, code-named as Dylan, was or if it would ever become a commercial product.

Moreover, this is not the only product in the works at the company research lab. Last December in the year 2018, a note by the Apple Analyst Ming Chi Kuo indicated that both the Google and Amazon are working on the Apple AirPods competitors that would be supported by their own Virtual Assistants – Google Assistant and Alexa.
