Amdocs Announces Expansion of Global Strategic 1

Amdocs, which is a software service provider, will now be going to partner with the IT giant Microsoft to provide cloud solutions for a communication service provider.

The new cloud services will be going to help the CCSP’s rollout based on different technology domains such as the Internet of Things, data, AI, virtualized networking, and media, according to the report.

“As the communications and media industries merge, CSPs are jockeying to bring fresh, new offerings to their brand to retain and grow their customer base and gain market share,” said Gary Miles, chief marketing officer, Amdocs.

“With today’s expanded agreement, CSPs can now offer a one-stop-shop of new and differentiated cloud services to drive growth, stickiness, and value-add, while also streamlining operations, improving service agility and reducing complexity,” he said.

The company will also be adding a new scalable, Hadoop based data management platform and self-service visualization and reporting solution with the Azure platform.

In the month of May, South Korean based telephony company KT Corporation had now collaborated with the Amdocs to launch and monetize innovative 5G services for end customers and enterprises. As a part of the deal, KT Corporation will now be going to use the Amdocs service convergent and monetization charging solution for its recently launched 5G commercial services.
