In a momentous achievement, TARAMANDAL, heralded as the pioneering space startup hailing from Andhra Pradesh, has secured the “Best Emerging Startup of the Year 2023 Award” within the space sector. This esteemed recognition was conferred upon them by Headstart, India’s preeminent grassroots organization committed to nurturing the growth of startups and entrepreneurial endeavors.
TARAMANDAL started its journey into space with the help of a group of dedicated Andhra University alumni. Their goal was to change the space industry by making eco-friendly satellites and creating a peaceful space neighborhood.
Their groundbreaking space technologies have garnered the attention and respect of prestigious institutions like IN-SPACE, ISRO, ASA, TASA, SIA-INDIA, ISPA and CII as well. TARAMANDAL has now been established as pioneer in the industry.
In a stiff competition featuring over 2,000 applicants from more than 20 cities, TARAMANDAL soared above the rest to claim the “Best Emerging Startup of the Year 2023 Award” in the space sector. It is a result of their dedication and ingenuity.
Importantly, Professor P. Mallikarjun Rao, who teaches in the Electrical Engineering department at Andhra University, has been selected as TARAMANDAL’s mentor. His guidance has made a big difference in the quick success of it.
The Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University, P.V.G.D. Prasad Reddy, praised the Team TARAMANDAL for this remarkable accomplishment. Additionally, Ravi Eswarapu, CEO of the Incubation Centre, received accolades for his important role played in nurturing the startup ecosystem.
