Audi a German carmaker company has partnered with an autonomous vehicle simulation provider Cognata Ltd to enhance the growth of self-governing vehicle. The Cognata Ltd is Israel based startup stated that its simulation vehicle is going to create city of real world, we will be providing various methods of testing systems, which include various traffic models with actual situation, we are giving more importance to realistic Road safety tests of self-governing vehicle.
Audi is going to be first one of the major carmaker to have alliance for multi years partnership with Cognata through its manufacturing self-driven car unit Autonomous Intelligence Driving (AID) GmbH, this is glint to lessen the time to get self-driven cars in market.
Alex Haag the Chief Technology Officer said in his statement that ” With AID we have come to know that simulation is the actual main tool to speed up our development and imperative to know that our product is safe by several means”.
“We have come across various different options to increase our speed just to achieve our goal but we have found that Cognata partnership will help us to grow fastest towards the aim” said Alex Haag.
There are lot of car and technology companies from U.S the best automaker General Motors Co (GM.N) to Uber (UBER. UL) and Alphabet Inc. Way more are going to invest in resting self-driven capacity so that self-driven cars can soon launched for commercial use.
The collaboration of AID and Cognata was done at the time when there was an Israel defense technology was helping their military tanks to drive, to guide their missiles, and securing army’s computer system more secure, was reason of redeploying the development of self -driven cars.
One of the Israeli auto tech startup raised $814 million pervious year, which was little bit behind $1.2 billion raised by U.S firm.
There are companies who are bringing startups or trying set up their own development centres in Israel, companies such as U.S’s Chipmakers company Intel (INTC.O), German auto supplier Continental (CONG.DE), Samsung (005930.KS), Daimler (DAIGn.DE), Ford Motor Co (F.N) and GM (GM.N).
Cognata have their competitors like Redwood City, a California- based startup Metamoto which has raised total amount of $5 million in the funding round of 2017.
The investors of Cognata include Maniv Mobility, this is a car technology company which is under the Jaguar, Land Rover and French auto parts maker Valeo.
