AWS thinks using cloud computers is important for space in the future. They say it helps startups look at data, use smart programs and think of new things as well. And they can do all these while spending less money and doing things faster.

The program is being done with T-Hub and Minfy. Both the organizations are based in Hyderabad.

Shalini Kapoor from AWS India says the program proves that AWS is dedicated to helping India’s space industry. They have already been working with ISRO and IN-SPACe in the country.

Startups that join the program will get a lot of support. They can get up to $100,000 in credits to use AWS services. They will simultaneously get help from experts at ISRO, IN-SPACe, T-Hub and Minfy. The program goes on for 14 weeks and is available for startups at various stages of growth.

One main aim of the program is to help solve problems that space technology startups often encounter. These problems include not having enough money, not having enough skilled people to work with and having to test new technology in risky situations.

The program is looking for startups to join until March 17th, 2024. AWS wants to show startups how to use their tools and understand space tech. They want to help solve problems in farming, flying, and dealing with climate change.

With the AWS Space Accelerator: India, startups in India have a chance to get a boost in the space industry and make a big impact on the world.
