Baidu to Showcase New AI Technologies at Developer Conference

Baidu is set to organize its annual developer conference Baidu Create. It is scheduled to be held on April 16th at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in China. The theme of the event this year is “Create the Future.” The event aims to showcase cutting-edge AI technologies and models. This will empower developers to create AI-native applications efficiently.

The conference will be addressed by Baidu’s Co-founder, Chairman and CEO Robin Li. His speech will basically focus on the commitment of the company in providing advanced AI tools to the developers. The focus of the event will be integration of general AI capabilities with industry-specific expertise.

Baidu is learned to be introducing new lightweight AI models such as ERNIE Speed, ERNIE Light and ERNIE Tiny. These models are to complement larger models to enable faster responses as well as reduced inference costs.

Apart from all these, the full-day Baidu conference will showcase three AI toolkits to facilitate agent development, AI application development and model customization. The company aims to enable individuals without extensive programming expertise while creating AI applications.

The conference will offer a diverse array of activities to the attendees. These include over 20 industry forums, more than 30 open AI development classes and a 3,000-square-foot AI interactive experience area as well. Attendees can simultaneously enjoy an AI music festival too.

The conference will also be streamed live on Baidu’s official platforms from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM (Beijing Time). This ensures accessibility to a global audience.

Baidu was founded in 2000 and is well-known as an AI technology company. It is publicly traded on NASDAQ and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
