Email is far from dead, on the contrary, it is still very much alive despite the arrival with social networks in the world of digital marketing.

Because this way of communicating with potential clients is a powerful mechanism to generate more sales.

For this reason, I have tried to collect the best tools even though there are many more on the market, so that you can make your business profitable and thus get a greater number of clients that you can retain with your promotions or offers.

# 1 Mailchimp

The popular email marketing tool Mailchimp is much more than a service for sending and tracking email messages.

In addition to being an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop email creator, having an image editor built-in, including the auto-send (autoresponder) feature, and its optimization for mobile device screens, Mailchimp offers advanced features for campaigning more effective.

Among some of the features, it offers are the ability to include subscriber profiles, email list segmentation, revenue reports to monitor subscriber activity, comprehensive analysis with more detailed user information, and download From the results.

It is also worth noting the possibility of integrating this tool with Google Analytics, to know the traffic from the emails sent to subscribers.

Mailchimp has three different plans depending on the needs that each company or self-employed needs for their business:

  • Entrepreneur:  this service is free with a capacity of up to 2,000 subscribers, and the sending of 12,000 emails per month.
  • Business:  is a payment plan that allows you to send an unlimited amount of emails, and have a maximum of 600,000 subscribers.
  • High Volume Shipping:  is also a payment plan and as its name says, it is focused on companies that need to send unlimited emails to more than 600,000 subscribers.

# 2 Sendinblue

Sendinblue is an email marketing tool that complies with the GDPR and offers numerous functionalities for any online business that wants to increase sales.

The most outstanding features that I have observed on this platform for mass emails are:

Drag & Drop Editor:

It has an editor that is very easy to use to design a newsletter, and that does not require technical skills in HTML.

You only need to drag and drop the blocks you want to use for the content of your digital newsletter.

Newsletter forms:

You can also create subscription forms to collect email addresses, which you can integrate directly into your website.

The form editor offers numerous customization options to add your brand text, colours, fonts, background image and logo.

You can even add custom fields to get more information about your contacts and leads.

On the other hand, you can include a CAPTCHA confirmation to ensure the authenticity of the contacts, and configure a landing page to redirect users to a thank you or confirmation page.

Email Marketing Automation:

Marketing Automation is a feature that I consider essential in any email marketing tool, and Sendinblue provides this functionality to automate your emails. If you get an email in your inbox, it’s most likely sent from Free SMTP servers.

Here you can use up to 8 different templates for each situation such as a welcome email, abandoned cart notice, etc,

Remember that marketing automation is based on creating a workflow of emails sent based on the actions and preferences of the contacts.

Send Time Optimization:

If you want to be successful with email marketing campaigns, it is important to know the best times to increase open and click rates.

For this reason, Sendinblue offers a tool to optimize mass emails and thus choose the most opportune moment.

The platform is in charge of retaining the data of the sent campaigns to detect the most optimal shipping times and achieve better results with your email marketing campaigns.

SMS Marketing:

Another feature that I liked a lot about Sendinblue is that it also offers the possibility of sending marketing and transactional SMS campaigns.

Texting is a great way to communicate with contacts at important times and to maintain a personalized business relationship.

This tool can be used both to retain contacts through promotion and for informational purposes to confirm an order placed in the online store.

Heat Map:

Analyzing the essential metrics in an email marketing campaign will be necessary to know the performance, and thus make decisions that improve results.

The heat map or heat map is a widely used tool on websites to discover the behaviour of visitors and the areas with the highest interactions.

That being said, I was surprised that Sendinblue also offers a tool for knowing both cold and hot zones in emails.

With the help of the heat map, you will be able to know which elements the contacts have seen, and which have not had any visualization or interaction.

Unlike the previous one, if you don’t know English, Acumbamail is a Spanish tool that allows you to send mass emails but with an interface in Spanish, and it also has its servers installed in Spain.

This platform also offers the possibility of creating a free account but with a capacity of up to 2,000 subscribers, and sending 2,000 emails monthly.

Like all other tools, you have the option to choose from a variety of six different plans with their corresponding features to best suit your professional needs.

# 4 GetResponse

GetResponse, In addition to being an email marketing tool, is also an excellent solution because it allows its integration with other services that companies often use.

One of the great advantages of this online software is that it allows you to use the interface in Spanish, but if you wish you can choose between 19 different languages.

In this case, the user cannot create a free account, as in other tools, you only have a free trial period for 30 days. Then you must choose from a  with different characteristics.

Some of the advantages it provides users are its easy handling and intuitive email creator, more than 500 professionally predesigned email templates, free access to more than 1,000 images to customize the design of your emails, and a help centre with hundreds of videos plus downloadable guides.

However, this platform has been characterized in the market for having four highly useful functionalities that its competitors lack, such as:

  • Unique IP addresses, to have greater control over the delivery capacity.
  • Complete customization where you can easily configure a sublevel of user access control.
  • Chat support with incredible response times, less than 10 minutes, and 24 hours a day.

# 5 MailRelay

MailRelay is another Spanish email marketing platform but it has established itself in the market because it offers the largest free account on the market compared to its competitors.

As a general rule, just by accessing the web and creating a new account, they offer you a free service with the possibility of sending a total of 15,000 emails per month to a maximum of 3,000 subscribers.

Not bad at all, right? Well, everything doesn’t end here !!

Now comes the bombshell and it is no wonder, because they also offer you the increasing opportunity for the capacity of your account to send 75000 emails monthly for up to 15000 subscribers, but with one condition, and you should follow your corporate account social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, and Google+).

However, if this is insufficient for sending emails in your business because you are a lucky businessman, you can choose from a variety of eight plans with different prices, and thus choose the one that best suits your professional needs.
