A startup from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, has emerged victorious on a global platform. It achieved a top spot in a prestigious international contest. It showcases the spirit of a young entrepreneur Anup Paikaray, who founded Newrup Tech Solutions.
Anup hails from a middle-class family. He lately graduated from the Odisha University of Technology and Research. He holds a degree in Electronics and Instrumentation.
Prior to the latest prestigious content winning, he secured the Smartideathon contest organized by GITAM University. It earned him a spot in the Boston immersion program at Northeastern University in March-April 2024. At the Pitchathon event in the university, he faced competition from other startup participants coming from top institutions like Harvard University and MIT Innovation Lab. He emerged victorious and secured cash reward of Rs 2 lakhs as well as a global recognition for his Newrup Tech Solutions.
His startup previously was even honored with a couple of accolades and includes the prestigious Best Student Startup of the Year 2023 by Startup Odisha.
