Ponder, a blockchain based recommendations platform has now secured the strategic investment arm of the India largest media, The Times Group for some stake.
Ponder is a blockchain based platform which aims to easify and make it enjoyable to find and make new referrals. Whenever a referral leads to success, the person who makes the referral gets a monetary incentive. As of now, the startup is currently working on making an app which is much more intended for the process of recruitment, that would provide the employers or firms o source more quality of referred candidates for the job.
The platform works on the blockchain technology to create secure matchmaking communities and ensure that the identity and data are secured and protected.
According to official release by the startup, “Brand Capital’s investment in Ponder will help the startup launch into the Indian market and leverage the group’s media assets in order to build a robust community of users, increasing engagement on the Ponder platform for different verticals of referrals: recruitment, new customers & romance.”
The startup which is founded and operated by the Manshu Agarwal, and Chris Imani in the year 2017. Ponder is a game like a mobile app to play the matchmaker where user wins money on making the successful matches. With the help of latest blockchain bases technology, Ponder decentralizes matchmaking, by allowing anyone to play the matchmaker for their community or friends.
On the play store, the app has been downloaded 120000 times, and the startup is now working to build another referral app for the purpose of recruitment.
