Imagine earning Rs 1 lakh for taking care of your skin. Science-backed Indian skincare startup Deconstruct has introduced an exciting new idea and it is the ‘Skincare Internship.’ It is a unique program and is designed to make skincare simple, inclusive as well as accessible to everyone. It has emerged to break stereotypes about who skincare is for.

The Skincare Internship is open to anyone above 18 and it does not require any prior experience. It is perfect for beginners seeking to embrace skincare as a daily habit. It is much like brushing teeth. Half of the spots are reserved for men and it is challenging the outdated notion that skincare is only for women.

Participants are to receive personalized skincare routines and products which are tailored to their specific concerns. The journey lasts for 30 to 60 days and is guided by skincare experts as well as dermatologists. It is also done from the comfort of home.

The internship is not just about glowing skin. Interns receive product hampers, social media recognition and access to expert-led dermatology sessions along with the Rs 1 lakh stipend. There is even an opportunity for pre-placement interviews in brand marketing to make it a holistic learning experience.

The selection process is simple and involves three stages. These are registration and screening, video submissions, and interviews. Six to ten selected participants are to begin their journey of understanding the science behind skincare while building routines that truly work for them.

Deconstruct is founded by IIT Kharagpur alumna Malini Adapureddy and is known for its gentle as well as evidence-based skincare solutions. The brand continues its mission to make skincare enjoyable and approachable for everyone.
