Dell, which is an Information technology services provider has now revealed a new set of solutions for the core and edge computing at the Dell technologies World 2019 Conferences in the Las Vegas, according to the report which has been revealed.
The customers of Dell can use the solutions on the private and public clouds, where they can process, store, transport and consume data.
“The increasing amount of data led by mobility, artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, along with traditional workloads, is driving demand for all types of clouds, including public, managed and on-premises,” said Amit Mehta, director for modern data centre at Dell Technologies.
“The whole point of our Dell Technologies portfolio – from the edge to the core to the cloud – is to help our customers innovate, meet these disruptive challenges head-on – and win,” said Clarke.
Dell has also revealed that it is advancing its edge capabilities by transforming its wide area network. This will help its customers to modernize and evolve their WAN’s for the hybrid cloud.
Besides that, the consulting services wing of the Dell revealed that it was debuting three new services for the customers with the SD-WAN Technologies that is advisory, implementation, and design. The consultants will also be going to help the customers plan, scale and customize the platform to deploy the modernized virtual network functions.
Dell also revealed that it has rebranded its open networking switch portfolio as the Dell EMC PowerSwitch. The first switch product with the new name, the Dell EMC PowerSwitch S5200-ON will deliver the high performance over some of the previous models and includes a market first half-width version designed for the HCi environments.
