LearnApp, a digital learning platform which is owned by the Noida based PS market Scientist Pvt Ltd has now secured Rs 2 crore in the seed funding round from the fintech startup incubator Rainmatter, the company revealed in a report.
The startup which is founded in August this year by the Ankush Oberoi, Prateek Singh, Sohail Alam, and Swati Sharma. LearnApp offers a subscription-based online streaming of the executive education programmes.
The platform aims to equip the professionals with the new age skills with the help of video courses by the industry leaders, assessment analytics and live interactive classes. The company also claims that it already has more than 3600 subscribers and also aims to grow to 10000 users in the coming four months.
The company as of now has plans to use the funds to produce films and improve the back-end technology.
Zerodha chief executive Nithin Kamath said in a statement, “We see the potential for LearnApp to define how people upskill themselves in finance, business management, and technology.”
Some of the programmes on the platform include the investment in mutual funds, venture capital, trading, and capital markets. The company is also planning to expand soon course which is based on business management and technology. The platform as of now has the 25 courses that have been come produced with the help of executives of fund houses and financial companies.
The startup has claimed that LearnApp gets around 600 new courses every month and introduces one new course every week. It is also planning to launch up its upcoming courses in Hindi.
