Ecolab Sets Up Digital Innovation Hub in Bengaluru

Bill Gates, the Co-founder of Microsoft backed the Ecolab Inc, which is a provider of water, energy, hygiene technology and services has set up a new facility in the Bangalore to drive the digital growth and innovation.

The Ecolab Digital Center has set up in partnership with America based SMC Squared LLC, which will also serve as a global ‘Digital Innovation Center of Excellence,’ the company revealed in a statement. The center will also drive the digital customer and field technology innovation.

“Digital technology is already driving innovation and improving business outcomes in every industry we serve, and our customers are looking to us to lead,” said Charles F. Koontz, executive vice president, and chief digital officer at Ecolab.

The centers will also help the company to scale up its digital capability, unlock insights that even create more value for the customers and simplify the work for the company sales team.

According to the report which has been revealed, Ecolab provides the solution that helps the companies to improve efficiency, preserve natural resources and ensure the product quality.

In India itself, Ecolab provides the water treatment, laundry and water solutions at the two manufacturing plants in Pune and Kolkata. It also corporates the global system assurance center in Pune, which even monitors the 40000 global customer’s sites to help them save water and energy.

According to this statement, Ecolab aims to meet the growing global demand for predictive solutions with the help of Indian talent for digital development.

Teams at the new digital center will work with the Ecolab Information technology and the commercial digital solutions team to accelerate the introduction of the key digital solutions.
