Throughout my tech career, in US and India, I’ve been privileged to lead diverse tech initiatives across various industries, culminating in the foundation of an organization called – Kayylabs. Despite the availability of DIY website tools, these solutions were not tailored for those with limited technical expertise or substantial resources.

Seeing the gap between available technology and the needs of these micro-entrepreneurs, I recognized a significant opportunity. Our overarching mission is to empower India’s micro-entrepreneurs to become “Atmanirbhar Digital Businesses,” aligning with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat promoted by our honorable Prime Minister. We aim to create a holistic ecosystem where new entrants to e-commerce can not only launch but also thrive, securing their first genuine customer orders soon after going live. What role do you see AI and machine learning technologies can play in shaping Zupain in the future?

For us, artificial intelligence is far more than a supplementary feature; it’s fundamental to our infrastructure. We utilize Generative AI to enable innovative features such as image processing, AI-driven product descriptions, and real-time conversational insights that were once unattainable for many small entrepreneurs.

For instance, not long ago, we identified a common hurdle our clients faced: they were only managing to write simplistic product descriptions like “Green Linen Silk Saree,” which, while accurate, lacked appeal for a direct-to-consumer market.

In response, we integrated an AI-driven description generator directly into our platform. This tool empowers users to create detailed, attractive product descriptions quickly by simply entering basic product information, with the AI taking care of the rest.

In the tech industry and the SaaS landscape, particularly among developers, there’s a tendency to focus on execution over ideation, as a techie, I can confirm this predisposition :). My advice to those just starting is to remember that every coder is also an entrepreneur at heart, constantly solving problems through technology. It’s crucial not only to build solutions but to understand deeply who you’re building them for. If I had to give one advice, I’d say: BE A THINKER AND NOT A DOER!
