Facebook’s new video feature helps its users relive the best parts of their birthday
Trust Facebook for always coming up with innovative ways to keep its users engrossed with the social networking platform. Since going live, Facebook has dominated the social networking space like no one else and kept its users hooked on to it by timely launch of new features and revamping the existing ones.
The latest offering in line by the Mark Zuckerberg headed firm is a new video tool that will automatically make a video for its users just a day after their birthday highlighting the messages and photos they received from friends on their birthday.
Set on the same lines as its much-popular ‘Friend’s Day’ videos, where it highlights the moments shared by the user and their specific friend; the new birthday video tool will extend the birthday celebrations of their uses by a day by bringing together the birthday wishes from the user’s Facebook friends, along with a specially selected photo of the day.
Facebook is launching the Birthday video tool now and the users will most probably be able to see it on their timelines in a few days. Once completely launched, Facebook users will be able to watch their birthday video a day after their birthdays. The video will be appearing on the top of the user’s News Feed, where it will show the user a preview of the 45-second video.
Facebook has become an important part of how people have been celebrating birthdays all around the world for several years now. According to Facebook, more than 100 million birthday messages are posted on its platform each day.
The birthday video tool isn’t the only new feature that the social networking giant added to add more zing to birthday celebrations on Facebook. Earlier in the year, the platform launched a new tool using which users can record birthday videos for their friends on Facebook.
