Freshworks, which is a customer engagement software provider has now acquired the Silicon Valley Natero, that is an AI-powered and supported customer success product, for an undisclosed amount of fund. With the help of Natero, machine learning powered and supported technology, SaaS platform FreshWorks also aims to offer the end to end support unifying marketing, support, customer success, and sales as well.
Natero technology combines with customer intelligence, workflow management, and predictive analytics and helps the companies prevent and predicts customer base and thus expand the customer churn as well.
“When combined with Freshworks sales, marketing, and support data, users gain a 360-degree view of the customer, helping businesses optimize the entire lifecycle from the first touch to latest invoice,” Freshworks said, in a statement.
“Freshworks was actually a Natero customer so when Natero got to the point where it was looking for more capital to expand this focus on its customer model, we started exploring the opportunity,” Girish Mathrubootham, Freshworks founder and CEO, told in a report.
Natero will continue to exist as a standalone product, but it will also become part of the Freshworks integrated customer engagement suite. The Natero team is also planning to join the Freshworks.
“The addition of the Natero Customer Success Suite enables businesses to understand their customers better, offer personalized and differentiated service and turn them into passionate advocates and customers for life,” Mathrubootham, added.
Freshworks other acquisitions include the Konotor, Pipemonk, Zarget and some others, across the Marketing automation, AI, Machine Learning, chat and with some other sectors.
