Games24x7 gaming company has lately announced the final list of 17 startups which are selected for its startup accelerator programme named TechXpedite. The programme was launched in October 2024 and received overwhelming response equipped with more than 330 companies’ applications. The selected startups span across various sectors including artificial intelligence (AI), gaming and inclusive technology.
The companies are to get mentorship from industry experts, venture capitalists and leaders from various domains over the period of next eight weeks. The primary focus will be on helping the businesses to grow by improving their market strategies, financial frameworks and technological advancements.
Moreover, each startup will also receive $0.5 million in credits from 30-plus technology partners. It is said to be a huge advantage as the companies are to gain access to state-of-the-art tools as well as required resources. Such backing is often the push that startups need in scaling their operations quickly and effectively.
Games24x7 co-founder and co-CEO Trivikraman Thampy said that their main aim is to provide entrepreneurs with the right guidance in solving the challenges that they face in their operations. Games24x7 is charging no fees and it will also not take equity in return for mentorship. However, if the company decides to invest through its venture fund equipped with a corpus of Rs 400 crore, it will take equity. It is a refreshing approach and shows a genuine interest in supporting startups without burdening them with immediate financial obligations.
The programme is to conclude in March 2025 equipped with a big event where the startups will pitch to investors.
