Google has taken the initiative to make the upgradations in an AI chatbot called Bard. This update would be helpful for the users for the performance of programming and software development tasks such as code generation, code debugging, and explanation. The company is launching these capabilities in more than 20 programming languages like C++, Go, Java, Javascript, Python, and Typescript.

As per Google, users can easily export Python code to Google Colab with no copy and no paste required. Along with this feature, Bard can generate code; help explain code snippets to people, especially those who are learning about programming for the first time.

In case Bard highlights an error message or code that doesn’t do what the user intended. As per the company, this code didn’t work. Bard is still an early experiment project and can facilitate inaccurate, misleading, or false information while presenting it confidently.

However, when it comes to coding, Bard can facilitate the working code that doesn’t produce the expected output, or provide code that is not optimal or incomplete. It is recommended that always try to double-check Bard’s responses and carefully test and review code for errors, bugs, and vulnerabilities before relying on it.

The paid version of ChatGPT is helping people in coding and creates the software. One of the best examples is an entrepreneur who despite not knowing how to program created a Chrome extension with the help of ChatGPT.

Bard is already helping people with everyday tasks like starting from crafting presentations and writing lesson plans to inventing new recipes or planning a workout routine. Alphabet and Google CEO Sundar Pichai has created a unit that will help the company in building more capable AI systems safely.
