Google Mentorship Startups Using AI begin from March'19 1

Google today has now opened to start taking applications for the next class of its “Launchpad Accelerator” mentor ship programme for the startups with the help of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in India which is scheduled to be held in the month of March 2019.

The last date for receiving the application to the programme is the 31st of January 2019, Google revealed in a statement.

Under the programme of the Launchpad Accelerometer, startups that are using the ML/AI to solve India needs, undergo an intensive in the person mentorship boot camp which is followed by the customized support for the three months.

The selected startup in the second batch will be going to be announced in the month of February 2019.

“Our Launchpad Accelerator programme is bringing best of our expertise, platforms, tools and core strengths including Machine Learning and AI, to help Indian start-ups build, scale and grow their offering,” said Paul Ravindranath, Product Manager, Launchpad Accelerator India.

“The first batch of Launchpad Accelerator India, saw more experienced founders hailing from tier-II and tier-III cities, leveraging AI/ML to solve India’s real problems. We are excited about the role these new age start-ups can play in creating AI-based innovative solutions across agri-tech, language, healthcare, transportation and more,” Ravindranath added.

Each of the class in the Google Launchpad Accelerator India programme consists of the 10 startups who receive a proper mentorship and support from the Google in ML/AI cloud, Android, user experience, Web, marketing and product strategy.

A startup will also receive Google Cloud credits from $20000 going up to $1000000 each, an according to the report.
