Google and Coinbase have made the active announcement of future plans for a strategic partnership. This partnership is going to help the users in selecting the customers to pay for the cloud services using crypto from early 2023. To process blockchain data at scale in a bid, Coinbase will use Google Cloud’s compute platform. This will ultimately help in improving the global reach of its crypto services by leveraging Google’s fiber-optic network. Coinbase will also build its global data platform on Google Cloud’s infrastructure and leverage its leading data and analytics technologies in order to facilitate Coinbase customers with machine learning-driven crypto insights.

On a primary basis, the payments of crypto will only be available to companies that are working in the Web3 space with a limited number of cryptocurrencies. Coinbase Commerce currently supports ten digital assets. These assets are Bitcoin, Ether, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and many more. Coinbase’s commerce platform is already integrated into several platforms.

Blockchain developers will then be capable enough to make the utilization of Google’s BigQuery crypto public datasets. Google’s BigQuery crypto public datasets will be powered by Coinbase’s cloud nodes, having a motive to streamline the building process for decentralized applications. Google will make the maximum utilization of Coinbase Prime for its institutional crypto services, such as custody and reporting.

The co-founder and CEO of Coinbase, Brian Armstrong, said that they are excited that Google Cloud has selected Coinbase to help bring Web3 to a new set of users and is going to facilitate powerful solutions for developers. They could not ask for a better partner to help execute their vision of building a trusted bridge into the Web3 ecosystem.

The CEO of Google Cloud, Thomas Kurian, mentioned that they want to build Web3 faster and easier, and this partnership with Coinbase helps developers get one step closer to that goal. The team of the Google Cloud is proud Coinbase has chosen Google Cloud as its strategic cloud partner and is ready to serve the thriving global Web3 customer and partner ecosystem. The prime focus is on the making of frictionless for all customers to take advantage of scalability, reliability, security, and data services, so they can focus on innovation in the Web3 space.
