As per the recent news, Google is launching its all-new Play Store and Playandr Protect-related features as part of its September 2022 Google System Update. After the application and running of the latest Google Play services and Play Store updates, the biggest tech giant will permit its users to visualize an expanded information display in the details of all listings on the store; along with this, the users will then be able to track installations on other devices from their phones. Meanwhile, on phones running the latest Android 13, Play Protect security information will show up on the security and privacy settings section on the phone’s settings page.

As per the Google System Update, the newly launched features of Google allow its users to check the status of application installation happening on other devices they own. The company is also going to facilitate the option of optimizations for faster and more reliable app downloads and installation.

In its child-friendly Kids Space, Google has also updated some of the features that are allowing users to hide recommended apps during onboarding and install Kids Space on a tablet’s secondary user account during device setup.

The New Wear OS features include improvements in account syncing and account recovery. There is a new display format that is looking forward to making finding recommended apps easier, automatic companion app installation, and a new secondary menu on Android devices that allows users to browse recommended apps for their Wear OS devices.

As per the policy of Android, none of these security updates or changes are visible to users on their devices on a real-time basis. This can be the reason why Google is announcing updates before actually making the server-side switches needed for the changes to reflect on devices.

With the flow from this, a new feature will let users track alerts for compromised passwords. The users of the application will now receive a notification if their sign-on credentials have been found in a public data breach. The update also includes regular bug fixes for system management and diagnostics, utilities-related services, optimizations for faster and more reliable download and installation, Play Protect improvements to keep user devices safe, and improved menu navigation for large screens on landscape mode.

There is a massive level of improvements to Google Wallet in the form of added visual feedback when users lock, unlock, or start their car with a digital car key. This is additional support for new forms of payment on Google Pay in Japan and an option to enable open-loop transit agencies in the list of purchasable transit passes.
