In a game-changing move for healthcare in India a healthcare startup LifeChart is bridging patients to Ayurveda doctors digitally. Founded in 2021 by Mukul Shah, K Sandeep, and Mansi Sharma, this Gurugram-based startup is transforming the way people access Ayurvedic treatment.
Mukul Shah’s personal journey fueled the founding of LifeChart. His mother’s battle with Type II diabetes and which was worsened by long-term use of conventional medicines led Mukul to explore alternative solutions. His quest for Ayurvedic treatment initially was met with challenges. Eventually, after traveling 250 kilometers to an Ashram, his mother experienced a remarkable improvement in her health, reducing her reliance on modern medications to just 20%. Inspired by this transformation, he decided to establish an alternate healthcare ecosystem.
LifeChart specializes in holistic gut health solutions and addresses issues such as constipation, indigestion, gas, piles even and fatty liver. With a network of 500 doctors and 30 health buddies across India, it has already consulted 1.5 lakh patients.
The startup offers a plethora of avenues for patients to connect with Ayurveda doctors. Users can download the app, connect within 60 seconds via AI-based technology, access clinically-tested products, and enroll in disease recovery and patient care programs. It also leverages social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to engage with users, offering doctor sessions and informative content. Patients can book appointments through these channels as well. Additionally, the website provides product information and teleconsultation links.
LifeChart operates on a B2C model. It charges consultation fees ranging from Rs 5 to Rs 20 per minute, based on doctor experience. It uses an in-house AI generative engine to collect customer data, predict future demand and introduce new product categories. Their product range, priced from Rs 320 to Rs 2,300, includes vegan capsules, syrups, and powders.
