A few days back Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani broke the Internet, figuratively of course. He did this by announcing that Reliance Jio will not only be offering 4G services at much cheaper rates than any other existing telecom companies in India, but also its users will now no longer have to pay even a penny for their voice calls. Yes, the company has made voice calling absolutely free.
With this announcement, the company tempted Indians using the services of all other networks to begin a hunt for a Reliance Jio SIM. After all, who doesn’t want free voice calling and 4G services as cheapest rates available? Everyone, obviously!
If you’re one of those who is still figuring out how to land themselves a Jio SIM, we’re here to your rescue.
One of the easiest way to get a Jio SIM is to buy oneself a Lfy-branded smartphone. However, if you’re not in a position to buy a new phone or are in no mood of replacing your existing one, you can go to any Reliance Digital Xpress mini Store or Reliance Digital Xpress Store. There you will have to fill up a Customer Application Form. Don’t forget to take one valid photo ID proof and a couple of recent passport-size photos. You will have to submit them along with the form. Once you submit the form, you will get the receipt of the same on the email id that you have given in the form. In addition to the mail, an SMS receipt would also be sent to the applicant. The company will then verify each of applicant’s details given in the form by making a call to them on the number given.
Remember, a Reliance Jio SIM is absolutely free. There have been reports that some people are selling Jio SIMs for a whopping 500 per SIM in the black market. Don’t fall into that trap. You can easily get a Jio SIM by following the legit procedure.
