As every website owner knows, Google ranking can be quite a mystery. There are so many factors to take into consideration when trying to figure out how long it will take you to rank in Google that the answer we most often hear is: ‘It depends’.
Fortunately, a study from Ahrefs may be able to bring us a little bit closer to answering this burning question. The team at Ahrefs first looked at how old the top-ranking pages were on average. To kick off their study, they took 2 million random keywords and pulled data on the Top 10 ranking pages for each of them.
