Manually run WinSAT to generate XML files
The first thing you can do to see WEI score in Windows 10 is to manually run the WinSAT command. To do this, launch the Command Prompt (or PowerShell) and type this command: WinSAT formal
Here, Windows System Assessment Tool or WinSAT will be executed. It will help you see CPU benchmark and benchmark your PC’s memory, storage speed, and 2D and 3D graphics. Here, it will take some time to test the system and display the results. The time may vary according to the speed of your system’s components.
Once the test is completed, the results will be displayed at the below location:

Here, you need to go through the data to find the XML file name “Formal.Assesment”. If you didn’t run the WinSAT command, then the file will be mentioned as “Initial”. If you have run this command before, you can find the current test results in the file labeled “Recent”.
To view Formal.Assesment XML file you can open it in the browser or any XML viewer. Here, you can find the results in bit cluttered manner unlike the old WEI score, but still, you can find the relevant scores. Now you need to scroll down to view results of XML file under the section labeled as WinSPR.
Here, you will be able to view the total score for all different categories including “SystemScore” that displays the overall WEI score.
