HP and Siemens Deepen Additive Manufacturing Alliance 1

Siemens which is a German industrial company has now revealed an expansion of its additive manufacturing alliance with HP.

As a part of the alliance, Siemens and HHP will expand their integrated additive manufacturing solution, incorporating new systems and software including Product Lifecycle management, industrial 3D printing and data intelligence, performance analytics, additive manufacturing factory optimization, and manufacturing execution.

The integration of the HP new jet Fusion 5200 Series 3D printing solution with Siemens digital enterprise offerings would also going to help the industries brings the parts to markets faster and even provide the sustainability and higher volumes. Also, the companies would also revealed the addition of a new Polymer Competency Center to the Siemens Additive manufacturing Experience Center in Germany.

“We are excited to expand our collaboration with HP. Innovative partnerships and cutting-edge technologies such as additive manufacturing are essential for the digital transformation of companies across industries,” said Klaus Helmrich, member of the managing board of Siemens AG and CEO of digital industries.

Schell also added that the expanded software services, data and some of the industrial production capabilities would help to take the 3D printing further and provide with the innovative future applications in the area.

The expanded additive manufacturing alliance would also help in the complete cycle of a 3D printing: From simulation and design through the production planning, control and quality to execution. The closed-loop environment streamlines every phase of the 3D printing and designing of specialized parts, the release revealed.
