The Haryana Police Housing Corporation (HPHC) is embracing advanced technologies. It is deploying integrated system combining drones IoT sensors as well as real-time data analytics for continuous oversight of construction sites across the state. The tech-driven approach will enable timely interventions and informed decision-making. IoT sensors will detect and transmit data about environmental and system conditions.
The upcoming projects of HPHC include construction of 2,000 new houses, a high-security jail in Rohtak and Phase-II of the Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College. All these will benefit from the advanced technologies. The need for physical inspections will be eliminated.
Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) O P Singh emphasized importance of the comprehensive plan. He is now managing director of the HPHC. He said that the tech-driven approach will facilitate remote monitoring of multiple sites and it will reduce the need for frequent physical inspections. It will simultaneously enhance the overall management of construction activities. The system allows for instant progress checks at any site. It will make easier for officials and the chief minister to monitor projects with just a click.
Forward-thinking agenda of ADGP Singh also includes incorporating green building practices. He stressed on the responsibility of embracing energy-efficient materials, rainwater harvesting systems and renewable energy sources. All these are said to minimize the carbon footprint of police infrastructure. Recent projects such as the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) building and the State Vigilance Bureau building showcase the commitment of HPHC to green construction.
Addressing to the HPHC engineers he highlighted the objective of ensuring precision, accountability and timely execution of the projects. The innovative approach is a step forward in modernizing construction management. It is also demonstrating dedication of HPHC to leveraging technology for sustainable as well as efficient infrastructure development.
