One of the largest Chinese telecom network solution provider Huawei Technologies Pvt Ltd has now partnered with the Infosys to drive the cloud adoption among some of its enterprise customers.
The company revealed in a report that they have signed a memorandum of understanding that will see the Infosys join the Huawei cloud partner network.
According to the data, Huawei has a total of 6000 partners and has also integrated to add 2800 applications which are as of now available in the China, Russia, South Africa, and the Asia Pacific.
“We hope to further expand the HCPN partner ecosystem by identifying and developing partners such as Infosys with deep consulting expertise. Through our collaboration, we will ensure smooth project delivery, optimize operational costs, reduce transformational risks and create business value for our clients,” said Edward Deng, president of Huawei Cloud.
With respect to the agreement, the companies will also develop some of the new cloud solutions to use their own products and services to help the customers securely adopt cloud-based systems for the enterprise customer workloads.
The president at Infosys, Ravi Kumar S, revealed that the partnership is mainly aimed at helping the clients to accelerate their cloud journey of transition.
“As part of this engagement, we will provide a suite of technologies hosted on Huawei Cloud, such as workload migration solutions including SAP and other enterprise workloads,” he added.
The agreement between the Infosys-Huawei comes just a week after the Indian IT service provider HCL has partnered with the Google loud division to enable the hybrid cloud services, micro services and containerization architecture deliveries for the independent and enterprises software vendors.
