Hyderabad is gearing up to host the International Startup Festival (ISF) 2024. The event is said to attract global entrepreneurs, investors and innovators. It is scheduled to take place from September 26 to 28 at the Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) in Gachibowli. It is jointly being organized by the International Start-up Foundation and the International Startups Network (ISN). The theme this year is “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the AI Era.”
ISF 2024 is to bring together startups, venture capitalists and industry leaders from the USA, UK, Canada, Japan and more countries. The expected turnout is 5,000 delegates, 2000 exhibitors and more than 800 global angels.
ISF 2024 will feature a wide range of sectors such as fintech, agritech, health tech, edutech and space tech. The festival will host nine ISF talks by renowned speakers, investor connect sessions and curated roundtables on various themes including rural innovation, fintech and women in business.
Startups will have the chance to participate in pitch sessions. ISF Chairperson and Convenor JA Chowdary emphasized the event’s role in empowering startups by integrating AI technologies. He announced plans to set up “ISF Gurukul” in partnership with Sri City. It is to offer real-time training to bridge the talent gap in the startup ecosystem.
ISF Network Director Dr. Siva Mahesh Tangutooru highlighted that more than 50,000 startups are expected to participate and top 150 will be selected as finalists.
The event will be attended by key figures including Telangana’s Chief Minister and other policymakers, ensuring high-level discussions on entrepreneurship and innovation. Powered by Vamsiram Builders and NTT Data, ISF 2024 is set to become a landmark event in the global startup ecosystem.
