Hyundai, which is one of the largest Automobile makers today has now revealed it would soon be going to launch its connected car solution in partnership with the cloud form Amazon Web Services, conventional intelligence company SoundHound, telco Vodafone Idea and mapping services player Here Technologies.
Called the Blue Link, the technology will also be going to feature in the car maker upcoming Sports Utility Vehicle Venue and will also look at safety, convenience and security, aided by the powerful AI, call center and remote services.
“The Blue Link Solution, which encompasses e-SIM, the Blue Link app, along with our back-end tech stack, has been developed over a period of two years at the company’s Hyderabad research and development (R&D) center,” Jack Joseph, research head of info systems at Hyundai Motor India, told in a report.
Hyundai has also tied up with the Vodafone Idea for the network services and the Blue Link solution, aided by the Antenna on the roof of the car, can access the 2G, 3G and 4G network bands which even ensures the better connectivity.
Joseph said that the company has also collaborated with the AWS to store the data coming from its vehicles. He also added that the firm and was looking to run the analytics software on the data to provide to customers. The company also plans to use the business intelligence from the data for its different team such as the after and before sale services.
Puneet Anand, senior general manager of marketing at Hyundai Motor India, said, “In case of an accident, an auto call will be placed to the call center to assist you with emergency services like ambulance or police. And in case of an emergency, the call center will assist you with emergency services as well.”
Security services, which is offered by the company which includes the stolen vehicle notification, stolen vehicle immobilization, and stolen vehicle tracking.
