Bengaluru-based startup IDSign, a new-age Verifiable Digital ID and Signing platform, today announced its participation at India’s first-ever ‘Global Fintech Fest’, organised by the Fintech Convergence Council and the Payments Council of India, under the aegis of Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI). The fest will be held on a virtual platform on 22nd and 23rd July 2020.
Being a brainchild of serial techpreneurs Mr. Naveen Chava and Mr. Ganesh Karri, IDSign offers a platform-agnostic ecosystem consisting of identity management, digital verification, digital signing to simplify digital verification and consent based data sharing. It is accredited as ‘Certifying Authority’ by the Government of India and any document verified or signed through IDSign app is legally valid in India. Perhaps, this core recognition makes IDSign stand out from other competitors in the industry which is still at a nascent stage in the country.
Commenting on the participation, Mr. Naveen Chava, CEO, IDSign said, “We are happy to be part of this novel event. As a digital firm, we strongly believe that digital is going to be the new normal ahead in every industry and vertical. The current pandemic has provoked enterprises to resort to adaptive and agile business culture, and even traditional companies are trying out new regimes like virtual workplace, remote workplace, chat tools etc. In such a backdrop, every firm that is thriving to opt for digital transformation, especially in the areas of verification and signature is a potential user of IDSign. Our robust and integrated app helps them seamlessly do digital verification of their users, customers, employees and agents before or during the onboarding process and even facilitate e- signing through our platform which is legally valid. Through this fest, we aim to be recognized among the fintech fraternity, tap into opportunities arising in the fintech industry, and explore more customer traction to our platform.”
Themed at ‘With and Beyond COVID’, the Global Fintech Fest aims to bring together the global thought leaders, investors, regulatory bodies, policy makers, entrepreneurs, BFSI & tech leaders, startups, incubators and accelerators to share their insights on changing fintech ecosystem, further setting the paradigm for global collaboration and showcasing how fintech can propel the last mile Financial Access world-wide. Participants get an opportunity to meet, learn, discuss, collaborate and partner on this completely virtual-based platform.
