The Tech Media Startup Expo 2024 is all set to take place in Goa from November 20 to 24 and during the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). It is to be hosted by the Department of Information Technology, Electronics, and Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa.
The event debuted in 2023 and has returned with an expanded vision and it is not just about startups or technology but about the future of storytelling and filmmaking too. Goa is equipped with charm and evolving tech ecosystem that sets a perfect stage for such an event.
The event has a stellar lineup of collaborators including Startup India, NFDC, Entertainment Society of Goa and the India Blockchain Alliance. The network of partnerships ensures that it is not just local but also carries a national as well as international appeal.
The expo is to showcase ten innovative startups which are pushing boundaries in fields like streaming, virtual reality, animation, gaming and advertising tech. Attendees can immerse themselves in discussions about the way Generative AI (GenAI) is revolutionizing filmmaking, or hear about the powerful impact of women in media in sessions like “Her Story, Her Screen.” It is not just talk but there will be demos, fireside chats and even a spoken poetry session named “Stories Unbound.”
