India has invited Israeli startups to join its National Quantum Mission (NQM) and this is viewed as a smart move in the country’s mission to take the quantum ambitions to the next level. Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh highlighted the unique strengths that Israel brings to the table at an India-Israel Innovation Meet.
The National Quantum Mission was launched earlier this year and is one of India’s most ambitious projects. India has a vision to become a global leader in the quantum technology by 2031. Achieving such a massive goal requires more than domestic resources and hence it needs international collaboration.
Israel has already proven its mettle in fields like agriculture, defense and water management through successful partnerships with India.
