It was almost 19 months back in Silicon Valley where an Indian entrepreneur Gururaj Deshpande, who is very famous inside and outside of business world, has released his one of the philanthropy arm, The Deshpande Foundation, is going to launch India’s one of the biggest startup incubation house at Hubballi which was earlier known as Hubli in Karnataka.
Now finally the news has come about the inauguration of India’s largest startup incubation center that the inauguration is on July 18, and the hand of inaugurating the center will be the CEO of NITI Aayog Mr. Amitabh Kant, at Hubballi in Karnataka. The set up of new incubation centre is done by a startup company Sandbox Startups, which is the flagship of Deshpande Foundation, this is aiming to resolve all the problems related to non- metropolitan population.
The startup of this new kind have the facility which include the capacity of hosting more than 100 startups, and spreading in almost 6.09 acres of land which near to Hubballi Airport. In this the startup have the facility that have range of prototyping kind of facilities, with including a Maker’s lab which are manufacturing and 3D with printing capabilities with almost operational Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) centre.
They are offering to all startups, the new incubation centre will be providing large range of services from their access to every mentors, which are including many other services through their partnership with IESA (India Electronics and Semiconductor Association), and having other network of founders, entrepreneurs along with domain experts.
“Startups in the middle will be incubated through many stages of increased all growth and always provide the startups of having flexible configuration and those will allow all kind of scale of spaces as their will be need and staff for managing”, said Gururaj Deshpande.
It has been said that in April, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh has inaugurated the “ 36 Inc in Raipur” this is one the very first government supported startup incubation centre in the whole state and claims one the second biggest centre in the entire country after almost Hyderabad’s T- Hub.
The India’s Union Science & Technology Minister Harsh Vardhan has announced that India will be having there first own international incubation centre soon. And this will globally give identity to India in the field of incubation.
