Indus Appstore, a venture by PhonePe, has partnered with Startup India to launch the much-anticipated Indus Appstore Emerging Startup Awards. It is taking place from January 16 to March 30, 2024, and the goal is to find and cheer on the most creative startups in important areas like fintech, e-commerce, social impact, healthtech, agritech and gaming.
Akash Dongre, Co-founder/CPO of Indus Appstore, shared that they are thrilled to work with Startup India for the Indus Appstore Emerging Startup Awards.
The awards search for startups that are great at coming up with new ideas, growing, and making a positive difference in the market. Eligible participants must be registered under the Startup India initiative, operational for at least a year and have their applications listed on the Indus Appstore Developer Platform.
With a prize pool of Rs 12 lakh, each category winner will receive Rs 2 lakh in financial rewards. Startups that use new ideas are better at handling changes in the market, figuring out trends, and grabbing new chances. Aastha Grover, Head of Startup India, mentioned that the program recognizes those who can make a difference in how startups operate.
Winners will not only receive financial rewards but will also gain direct entry into the Indus Accelerate Programme. This program gives developers a chance to shine in the busy app world. It helps them be seen, get more users and have opportunities to market themselves as well as be part of the entrepreneur community.
The awards show that Indus Appstore really wants to support Indian startups. They want these startups to create apps that work well for people here and also have big goals globally. Interested startups can apply by uploading their app on the Indus Appstore and completing the necessary questionnaire on the Startup India website.
