Instagram's full-screen home feed is in beta 1

The latest Instagram test could make the app look more similar to TikTok. As per the sources, Instagram is verifying vertical home feeds that are full-screen. At the time of after simply visiting Instagram application, the users will immediately get deliberate content to “bring video to the top and front end.”

Of course, the exact reason is that Instagram carries on with its efforts to prey on our attention and not on TikTok. Meta, the parent company of Instagram, has revealed this week that Reels the app, which is a TikTok duplicate, is now generating more than 20 % of people’s time on Instagram. On some other social media channels like Facebook, videos of all categories are being one of the major attractions.

As Instagram Stories has proven to be extremely fortunate, it’s surprising that it’s gone away from the main screen. But, this could be modified later since this feature isn’t accessible to everyone yet.

As more social media platforms come closer to their rivalry with TikTok, the requirement to offer short video clips will raise. The competition for short-form video features is taking a new face, and Google has entered the queue by pushing its YouTube Shorts. The company also said that it intends to examine advertisements for YouTube Shorts as it creates more than 30 billion viewers each day. Similarly, TikTok has grown in popularity among social media veterans eagerly waiting to join in the fun pool.

Instagram decided to examine feeds focusing on video. Instagram is pressuring the feature of short-form videos to creators and users and has announced offers like- cash rewards to creators who will create the best Reels.
