Zolo is also disrupting the traditional paying guest model market in India by offering professional facility management services, catering, and utilities via a plug-and-play model is carefully curated living spaces.

The business model has seen quite some iteration as they progressed at a faster pace. The company even takes up some of the empty residential towers from the likes of the Sobha under a program named Zolo Select. The company used to manage the tenant and amenities, and mostly they are work-oriented tenants that are looking for around 2-3 days of stay.
Another program is Zolo standard, where there are buildings that are normal but consist of a swimming pool, clubhouse and tennis areas and much more. They sued to rent out 50-70 rooms that are not being used. For graduates, 6k-8k INR is what the rent comes up and to prefer the standard segment. Across Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, there are around 10000 beds.
But the best part about the Zolo Stays is that it offers food as well. The agreement is for at least around 1-3 years with the owners and the lease period to the tenants is around 6-12 months. With food options as well. You will get a mix of both the south and North Indian food with slight variations.

Nikhil Sikri founded the company after he finished his MBBS in the year 2007 from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi. After which, he practiced as a doctor in Singapore and then came back to India to pursue management from the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad from 2011-12 and then he started ZoloStays.
