The India Start-up Foundation, a significant non-profit entity dedicated to nurturing the growth and advancement of the Indian start-up ecosystem, successfully hosted the second edition of the India Startup Festival (ISF) 2023 in Bengaluru from August 10th to 12th.
Chief Guest Sadguru Sri Madhusudan, Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence in Karnataka’s Founder, ceremoniously inaugurated the ISF Exhibition. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed individuals, including J A Chowdary, a pivotal figure in the Indian Tech Industry as the Chairperson and Convenor of the India Startup Festival. Alongside, Dr. Siva Mahesh Tangutooru, Deenanath Harapanahalli, Achyut Yerragangu, Co-Founders of the India Startup Foundation, and several other dignitaries graced the occasion.
The Keynote address was eloquently presented by Prashanth Prakash, Chairman of Accel, and Vineet Rai, the Founder of Aavishkaar Group. This was followed by an impressive pitching round at ISF 2023, where over 100 handpicked startups by the Startup jury showcased their ideas to a panel of investors, including Angel Investors, VCs, and HNIs. India Startup Festival 2023 commenced vigorously, with 30 Investors demonstrating their commitment through 125 term sheets. The event concluded with the recognition of the top 10 startups with cash prizes, who will also receive mentorship from industry leaders in their respective sectors. These exceptional startups were selected through Investor Connect Workshops in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, USA, and the UK.
ISF 2023 is a unique platform for startup founders to connect with peers, industry leaders, and investors. This three-day event is poised to be a dynamic hub for fostering ideas, innovation, and startups, providing an ecosystem for interaction, networking, and collaboration with industry experts, government bodies, and investors. With participation from over 10,000 startups hailing from India, the UK, Japan, and various other countries, ISF 2023 is set to become the ultimate nexus of entrepreneurial excellence.
