iStart Startups from Rajasthan Steal the Show at Startup Mahakumbh in New Delhi

Rajasthan startups were the highlight of the Startup Mahakumbh inaugural event organized by ASSOCHAM, NASSCOM and other prominent bodies in New Delhi where India’s startup ecosystem came under the theme of ‘Bharat Innovates’. The key participant was iStart, which is an initiative of the Department of IT and Communication, Government of Rajasthan.

iStart Rajasthan had ten booths at the event and all of these showcased a diverse array of startups spanning various sectors including transport infrastructure, education, healthcare and industrial VR technology. The initiative highlighted fiscal as well as non-fiscal support provided by the Government of Rajasthan. The three-day event drew startups, investors, incubators, accelerators and industry leaders from across India.

The startups under its banner received positive response. Seven of them reported high levels of satisfaction with their participation. Fleeca India founder Tikam Chand Jain praised the exceptional support from the iStart team. The event was considered as a game-changer for many.

Codevidhya founder Shiv Ram appreciated the learning environment of the event and noted that it provided significant insights into the current entrepreneurial landscape. Viral Tiwari of Nuskha found the event to be an opportunity to find community among fellow startup founders and simultaneously gain access to cutting-edge solutions.

iStart also included around 50 college students with entrepreneurial aspirations in their delegation. The idea behind this was basically to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in the next generation. The designated ‘Future Entrepreneurs Day’ offered students lessons in strategic thinking and resilience.

Harsh Sharma, a BBA (Hons.) student, reflected on the experience at the event. He emphasized the importance of adaptability and strategic thinking in overcoming market challenges. Drishan Gupta, pursuing a BTech in computer science, found the event transformative as it provided him a clearer vision for his startup ideas.
