Jio Phone 2, GigaFiber Highlights from RIL AGM 2018
Reliance Jio has remarkablely crossed more than 200 million users in just 22 months of launch in September 2016. The news was announced by the Chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd Mr. Mukesh Ambani in the conference of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) Annual General Meeting (AGM). This is the 41st edition of RIL AGM which was held at Birla Matrushri Sabhaghar in Mumbai. The conference was started at 11am with the greetings of Reliance Industries Ltd Chairman and managing director Ambani.
“India is one of those countries which have the largest consumption of mobile phones along with maximum use of internet data broadband space but the country is lagging behind in fixing the line broadband,” said Ambani at the meet. He also added in his statement that “The main reason behind this is fixed-line broadband. Jio is the new and stairs to take India in a position where we can call ourselves as top five fixed-line broadband service providers. In today’s time India is holding 13th position in the world ranking of fixed-line broadband “.
“In countries which have much better communication skilled structure, where more than 80 percent of internet data consumption is happening inside through fixed-line broadband in home, offices and other places, so this has to be improved by taking no chance over better service,” said Ambani while addressing shareholders at meet.
This time Reliance JioPhone will keep up with apps such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and YouTube that is going to be available from August 15 to have more commercial success this time. At the conference Reliance also made an announcement about Jio GigaFiber and its Jio Router services for broadband. The is testing these services in their manufacturing and testing lab to give best out of best and users who want get the connection of Jio GigaFiber can register themselves from August.
JioPhone 2 have many additional features this time which is actually the high-end version of Jio Phone. Reliance Jio Phone with such amazing features and in more advanced format is costing Rs. 2,999 as introductory price from August 15. This time Reliance has designed the keypad of Jio Phone and gave QWERTY keypad which is totally out of zone and horizontal screen Viewing.
