Kerala to Establish Innovative Tech Hub in Technocity

Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is believed to bring transformative initiative in the startup landscape in the state. It has plans to establish a tech startup hub in Technocity, Thiruvananthapuram. It is set to submit a Detailed Project Report (DPR) to the Kerala government. The aim is to basically enhance the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state by providing a vibrant environment for tech entrepreneurs.

The proposed hub is learned to offer modern facilities such as co-working spaces, laboratories and mentorship programs. The initiative is to provide physical space and foster a culture of innovation as well as collaboration among startups. The initiative aligns KSUM with Kerala’s vision of becoming a leading destination for technology and entrepreneurship.

One promising aspect is its potential to drive economic growth and job creation. It is said to be significantly contributing to the local economy. Startups will be facilitated with collaboration among entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts.

As of now, Technocity is a well-recognized hub for providing robust infrastructure and connectivity. It is an ideal location for startups. It aims to accommodate around 1,000 startups within a seven-story building spanning 500,000 square feet. The extensive space is set to nurture innovation and support growth of emerging technologies. It is to create a dynamic environment for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The efforts of KSUM are mainly focused on enhancing startup ecosystem in the state. It will be providing the required environment and necessary resources to nurture talent and drive technological advancements as well. The project is basically inspired from the success of Kalamassery Startup Village that has now become a hot spot for startup activities in the region.
