Jio GigaFiber will be launch commercially on this September 5. This Jio Set-Top box will offer entertainment, console for gaming, and many more Mixed Reality services.
After a year of waiting, Jio finally launched JioFiber broadband services in India, which must be known to us as Jio GigaFiber. As the rumors were suggested, GigaFiber plans will begin from Rs 700 per month and offer a host of services through this Jio set-top box. For consumers, Jio GigaFiber will be available from September 5, 2019. Jio announced all benefits that JioFiber subscribers will enjoy, including the Jio Fiber, thank you Offer.
Jio GigaFiber list of prices :
JioFiber plans are offered in both monthly and annual packages. The annual packages are not yet revealed, but monthly plans start from the range of Rs 700 and end up to Rs 10,000.
Speeds of Jio GigaFiber:
All the subscribers of this jio GigaFiber will enjoy data speeds of at least 100Mbps. Based on various plans, consumers will get up to 1Gbps of speed.
JioFiber Set-Top Box:
Along with the Wi-Fi router, Jio will give a Set-Top box to all the subscribers. The Jio Set-Top box will offer smart features.
This Set-Top box will also support console gaming. The box is compatible with all gaming controls and comes with an in-built graphic card to play high-quality games. More Games would be added from studios Tencent, etc.., With high-speed Jio Fiber network, Jio promises lag-free multiplayer gameplay.
Jio Set-Top box will stream all channels from the local cable operators. eJio acquired a controlling stake in the Den Networks.
Customers will also be able to make unlimited international calls via International Calling pack offered by jio. This pack costs Rs 500 per month and allows the customer to make free calls to people in the US and Canada.
Jio Postpaid :
Jio also announced the new postpaid subscription for all subscribers. Jio ensures unlimited voice and data connectivity with postpaid service. There will be family plans with data sharing across all enrolled devices. Roaming charges will be a fraction of cost rationalized to other operators.
