Tech Mahindra has collaborated with the Mahendra Logistics, which is a third party logistics solution provider, for operating and introducing Electric Vehicles for employee transportation, the company revealed in a report today.
Mahindra Logistics will be going to deploy Mahindra -Verito vehicles at Tech Mahindra Hyderabad campus under its transportation of employee fleet from the 24th of July revealed in a report.
MD and CEO of Tech Mahindra, CP Gurnani said, “Sustainable mobility is the need of the hour. With environment and people at the core of our business, we at Tech Mahindra are committed to driving this shift to electric mobility.”
“We are happy to partner with Mahindra Logistics to accomplish the collective vision of improved electric mobility that will help us shape a sustainable future. We look forward to adding more electric vehicles at our offices globally,” he said.
As a part of its initiative for its Go-Green, Mahindra People Transport Solution business aims at taking the tally of the electric vehicles in its employee fleet of transportation to 300, over the fiscal year 2020, according to the report which has been revealed.
Mahindra Logistics Limited is a part of the Mahindra Partners, the $1 billion private equity division of the $20.7 billion Mahindra Group.
