The Expert Group of Educational Institutions in Mangaluru has lately made a notable leap in the world of education with the launch of AI-based learning platform named Expert e-Learn. The platform was unveiled by IT entrepreneur K Ullas Kamath on August 24 and at Hotel Ocean Pearl in the city.
The ‘Expert e-Learn’ app is a dynamic tool for students and offers video lessons of about 10 minutes long each. The lessons are passive content and is learned to actively engage students by asking questions throughout the video. If a student answers incorrectly, the video restarts and encourages to grasp the concept again before moving on.
The Expert Group has also introduced other innovative features such as ‘EZ’ and ‘Expedition’. ‘EZ’ is a tool powered by AI and provides precise answers to the queries of students based on NCERT and Expert Publishing House textbooks. The feature goes beyond what typical search engines offer. It gives students more accurate and contextually relevant information. It simultaneously helps the students to deepen their understanding of various subjects.
The ‘Expedition’ feature is tailored to keep younger students engaged by presenting lessons in diverse and interactive formats. It is available in book form as well as in digital form through the ‘Expert e-Learn’ app.
The app also includes tools that allow students to ask questions, seek clarifications and access model exam questions with immediate feedback. Moreover, it offers online tests for degree and competitive exams. The tablets provided to students are configured to support only the ‘Expert e-Learn’ app to maintain security and focus. Other downloads are closely monitored or blocked. The measure ensures that students remain disciplined as well as focused on their studies. Moreover, the tablets are deactivated from 11 pm to 5 am to encourage healthy study habits and sufficient rest.
