Microsoft on Monday revealed to invest $1 Billion in the AI startup called as the OpenAI, which is a San Francisco based organization of Elon Musk.
It was founded by the Elon Musk in the year 2015, Grey Brockmanaims, OpenAI aims to “freely collaborate” with some other researchers and institutions by making the Artificial Intelligence human-friendly.
Both the firms have signed a multi-year collaboration to jointly develop new supercomputing technology on the platform of Microsoft Azure cloud computing.
“Microsoft Corp and OpenAI, two companies, thinking deeply about the role of AI in the world and how to build secure, trustworthy and ethical AI to serve the public, have partnered to further extend Microsoft Azure’s capabilities in large-scale AI systems,” the company said in a statement.
The resulting part of the latest enhancements to the Azure platform will also be going to help the developers to build the next generation of Artificial Intelligence application, according to the report which has been revealed.
It was in the month of October 2015 when the SpaceX founder Elon Musk along with the Altman and some other investors revealed the formation of OpenAI, that led to revenue of more than $1 Billion.
